Luckily, if you haven’t already, we offer a variety of in-person and online lash courses to teach you everything you need to know. From our Master Lash Course to our Mega Volume, Classic, and Volume Lash Course, you’ll learn the ins and outs of what it takes to thrive in this industry. Here’s a taste of what you’ll learn:

Tips on launching your lash career
Step 2: Build Your Kit
When you enroll in our courses, you’ll receive a comprehensive starter kit with everything you need to perform high-quality lash extensions. With mini, pro, and elite kits available, you’ll have the tweezers, adhesive, gel eye pads, lash extensions, and more to begin your boss journey. These are a great way to help you get started and as you venture further into your career, you can pick and choose the products and tools that work best for you and your clients.
Step 3: Research and Practice
No one is born an expert at anything; however, with a little research and a lot of practice, you can quickly up your game to be the best in the business. This day in age, the internet is your friend. To research lash extensions, there’s a bevvy of online resources: tutorials, articles, vlogs, etc. that can give you an inside glimpse into the world of lashes. In terms of practice, reach out to friends, family, and even your Instagram followers to offer elevated lash looks. When doing this, always take before and after photos to add to your portfolio and share on social media. Word of the cyber mouth is crucial these days to run a thriving business.
Step 4: Start Your Lash Business
While this step is covered in greater depth in our courses, we’ll give a quick run through of business 101. Educate yourself on business structures, making sure you’re informed of your tax obligations, expenses, etc. Then, you’ll want to decide where you want to start this glowing business of yours. Try to avoid locations with a flooded market if you can. While you very well could be the best lash tech in your town, competing with several other businesses could cause unnecessary hiccups in your growth. Lastly, it’s time to determine the cost of your services. This will depend on the location of your business, your experience, and your profit margins. There’s a fine balance between undervaluing your services and overshooting your initial prices. The sweet spot is in there – just do your research to find out what it is.
Step 5: Market Your Business
Congratulations! You’ve taken the leap and started a lash business. Now it’s time to get the word out by marketing yourself for the lash baddy you are! Use social media to your advantage to promote your services, reach new clients, and maybe even start a client referral program to encourage word of mouth. The more you can get your name – and talents – talked about, the better. And do so with zero shame. As a new business owner, you may struggle with promoting your own name or experience a hint of imposter syndrome. Avoid this trap best you can. You’ve done the work, taken the risks, and have earned your spot as lash boss extraordinaire. So, channel that inner snob and get busy!
